Games Global Enters West Virginia, Its Fifth US iGaming Market

Games Global has secured approval from the West Virginia Lottery Commission to roll out its content portfolio in the state, extending its regulated US footprint to a fifth jurisdiction.

The supplier's slots and table games content will become available to West Virginia-licensed online casinos following the approval, the company confirmed.

West Virginia joins Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as states where Games Global now holds regulatory approval.

Building Out A Regulated US Footprint

Games Global has spent the past two years adding US states one at a time as its content, drawn from studios under its umbrella, clears licensing processes in each state.

Each new approval allows operators in that state to add the supplier's catalogue to their existing online casino platforms without requiring any additional technical integration beyond standard onboarding.

Why West Virginia?

West Virginia's regulated online casino market has been live since 2020 and continues to add supplier content as operators look to refresh their game libraries.

A fifth state approval gives Games Global access to another established iGaming market rather than a newly launched one, a pattern consistent with its prior entries into Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

A Large Content Library Behind The Brand

Games Global was formed in 2022 when it acquired Microgaming's distribution business and online games portfolio, bringing access to more than 3,000 games at the time of the deal across roughly 25 in-house and partnered studios.

The supplier's own figures now put its network at more than 30 in-house and partnered studios, with over 1,300 exclusive titles available to licensed operators, spanning slots, table games, video bingo, video poker and progressive jackpot products.

Steady State-By-State US Rollout

Rather than pursuing every live US iGaming state at once, Games Global has approached the market sequentially, clearing each state's individual licensing and technical certification process before activating content there.

West Virginia's approval follows the same model used in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and operators already licensed in the state can now add the supplier's catalogue via standard content-integration onboarding to their existing platforms.

Each additional state approval also expands the pool of licensed operators that can draw on Games Global's progressive jackpot network, a feature the supplier markets alongside its exclusive content library, since jackpot pools typically grow faster the more regulated markets and operators are connected to them.
