Live! Casino Hosts Free Table Games Dealer School

Ever dream about being a casino dealer? As the gaming industry grows in all corners of the state, those who run Live! Casino Pittsburgh think more than a few of you have.

So, they’ve set up a free table games dealer school inside the Westmoreland Mall, with participants being able to interview for positions at the casino upon graduation.

Jumping Into a Growth Industry

“Offering a dealer school allows Live! Casino to professionally train individuals with the skills necessary to establish and build a career in the gaming industry. It also provides additional residents with the potential of employment opportunities,” said Brian Dwaileebe, Table Games Manager for Live! Casino.

“Interest in the free dealer school has been high. On average, we like to keep our classes to approximately 20 individuals per class. We will usually have an afternoon class and an evening class that people can choose from. They are taught by licensed professional dealers at no cost to the individuals."

All classes are taught by experienced, licensed instructors, to prep students with the necessary skills to work in the Pennsylvania online casino industry.

Jobs Available Upon Completion of The Course

Dealer School is on the lower concourse of the mall, across from Old Navy. Classes run for six weeks, from Jan. 8 to Feb. 23, and are offered Monday through Friday each week. There are two time slots available each day that you can choose from: noon to 4 p.m. and 4-8 p.m.

Once you graduate, you’ll be able to interview for open dealer positions within Live! Casino Pittsburgh. Current dealer positions are available for full time, part time and on-call casual. Send an email to [email protected] or go to https://pittsburgh.livecasinohotel.com/dealerschool

Live! Casino Pittsburgh is located in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, 30 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. The 100,000 square foot facility features 750 slots and 40 live action table games, a designated poker room, a FanDuel Sportsbook, as well as restaurants and entertainment spaces.

“Many of our current employees have gone through the program and have thrived as a professional table games dealers,” Dwaileebe said.
