New York Sports Betting Numbers Continue to Be Impressive

The impressive figures continue to come in from New York sports betting.

According to the latest numbers from the New York State Gaming Commission, the state took in $572.6 million in bets from January 17-23. Gross gaming revenue during that span was $43.2 million, while taxes from sports betting was $22 million.

Caesars is New York’s Top Operator

Caesars New York Sportsbook took in the largest handle from January 17-23 with $229.7 million. Revenue was $19 million and taxes came to $9.7 million.

FanDuel New York had the second largest handle at $159.7 million and tallied $10 million in revenue and $5.1 million in taxes.

DraftKings Sportsbook New York was third in handle at $131.1 million and recorded $10.8 million in revenue and $5.5 million in taxes.

BetMGM New York had a handle of $40.6 million since going live on Jan. 17. The operator has tallied revenue of $2.5 million and $1.3 million in taxes.

BetRivers New York Sportsbook continued to be well behind the more well-known operators with a handle of $11.6 million and $784,797 in revenue and $400,246 in taxes.

New York Sports Betting Cumulative Totals

Since New York launched online sports betting on Jan. 8 through Jan. 23, the state has a sports betting handle of $1.17 billion and has tallied $91.4 million in revenue and $46.6 million in sports betting taxes.

Caesars Sportsbook has the highest handle during that span at $487.4 million and $41.8 million in revenue and $21.3 million in taxes.

FanDuel is second at $360 million in handle and $24.2 million in revenue and $12.3 million in taxes.

DraftKings handle since launch is $265.5 million and $21.8 million in revenue and $11.1 million in taxes.

BetRivers has produced a sports betting handle of $22.2 million and $1.2 million in revenue. BetRivers also has recorded $628,061 in sports betting taxes.
