For the first part of our NFL Thanksgiving parlay, we're going to target Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery. On the season, Montgomery has gained 577 yards rushing and eight touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry.

We like David Montgomery Over 67.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel. Montgomery had a field day against the Packers in the last matchup between teh two teams, with Montgomery gaining 121 yards rushing on 32 carries and three touchdowns.

One key area we like about taking a Montgomery over on a rushing prop is his high work usage. In six of the seven games he's been active this season, he's had at least 12 carries, including in both games since his return from injury. He will also get to face a Packers defense that ranks 24th in yards allowed per rush (4.3) and is 28th in rushing yards allowed per game (134.7).

Commanders vs. Cowboys Week 12 Predictions

Our second leg of our NFL Thanksgiving parlay concerns Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. It's been another solid season for Prescott, who has completed 70% of his passes for 2,604 yards and 19 touchdowns to just six interceptions. We're going to back Prescott for another productive outing against the Commanders.

We like Dak Prescott Over 275.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel. Prescott has thrown for at least 300 yards in three of his last four games and will now face a bad Washington defense that struggles to defend the pass.

The Commanders are 28th in the league in yards allowed per pass (7.3) and 30th in passing yards allowed per game (258.5). Considering the strong run Prescott is on, we are confident in him backing his passing yardage prop.

Seahawks vs. 49ers Week 12 Predictions

⭐ NFL Player Prop #3: Geno Smith Under 236.5 Passing Yards (-115) at FanDuel

Geno Smith is questionable to play in Thursday's game against the 49ers, but if he goes, he's auto-fade material considering his injury status. SMith left Saunday's game against the Rams in the third quarter when he suffered an elbow/triceps injury on a hit from Aaron Donald but did manage to return for the final drive.

We're going with Geno Smith Under 236.5 Passing Yards (-115) at FanDuel. If Smith plays, he will be less than 100%, which isn't ideal when facing this 49ers defense. San Francisco ranks sixth in yards allowed per pass (5.7) and only allows 221.4 yards per game.

Smith hasn't had as prolific of a season as last year when he threw for 30 touchdowns in 17 games. He has just 12 in 10 contests this year while his completion percentage and passing averages are down on the season. Smith has also thrown for fewer than 236 yards in two of his last three games.

Considering his injury status and the 49ers' strong defense, we're going to take the under on Smith's yardage prop.
