And, while the biggest winner was undoubtedly the record-breaking Pai Gow jackpot at Rivers Casino, which dished out $1.4 million to one lucky player, there was plenty more goodwill going round.
Pittsburgh Winner Lands $380,000 Ultimate Texas Hold 'em Jackpot
Westmoreland County’s Live! Casino Pittsburgh saw more than its fair share of action as Stephen Mcrae of Somerset Township hit the $380,065 on a $5 hand on January 26 while playing ultimate Texas Hold 'em.
The winning hand was a royal flush with a 10 of hearts and jack of hearts, with a flop of the ace, king and queen of hearts.
“Every win is a moment of shared excitement and celebration. We thrive on witnessing the joy that lights up our guests' faces, turning their gaming experience into unforgettable moments,” casino general manager Sean Sullivan told CBS News.

Meantime, Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported another mega win on its PA online casino, right on January 1 and just in time for a lucky player to seriously celebrate the start of the new year. The hit happened on Ultimate Texas Hold ‘em with a Royal Flush that netted $263,978 in winnings. The winner was pictured on the casino’s official Instagram page holding a large cheque with the winnings, with the post also revealing that three of her table mates landed a $5,000 envy bonus.
Two Players Receive $80,000+ Winnings at Live! Casino Philadelphia
The lucky streak continued at Live! Casino Philadelphia, with several big winners announced on the casino’s Instagram page, totalling more than $420,000 in all. The two biggest winners cashed in $80,000 with a $1.00 bet on Spin Poker Deluxe and $71,622 on Lightning Cash.
