Caesars Sets $1.5M Spending Bar for New Olympus Loyalty Tier

Caesars Sets $1.5M Spending Bar for New Olympus Loyalty Tier

Caesars Entertainment is adding a new tier to its loyalty programme that sits above its existing Seven Stars status, and getting in will cost members roughly $1.5 million in tracked spending.

The operator confirmed on its own rewards site that the tier, called Olympus, opens for qualification now and requires 300,000 Tier Credits earned by December 31, 2026, through gaming, dining, entertainment, partner purchases and hotel stays.

Caesars is calling the tier invitation-only, and says hitting the credit threshold is only the first step. "Reaching 300,000 tier credits is the first step toward Olympus," the company said in its published Olympus FAQ.

"As an invitation-only tier, earning the tier credit requirement does not guarantee membership." Members who reach the threshold without receiving an invitation will not be told why, since Caesars has not published selection criteria beyond the credit floor.

Based on Caesars' standard credit-earning rates, the Las Vegas Review-Journal calculated that 300,000 Tier Credits works out to roughly $1.5m in cumulative spend, a bar far higher than the Seven Stars tier it sits above.

What Founding Members Get

Caesars says invitees will become “Founding Members” and start receiving benefits from February 1, 2027.

Those benefits include earning Reward Credits 40% faster than other tiers, complimentary suite upgrades subject to availability, and a seven-night annual retreat at any Caesars Rewards destination. Olympus members will also get a newly designed membership card and an invitation to a Founder's Party at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in March 2027.

Play on both land-based and online casino products counts toward the threshold.

Caesars confirmed that wagering through Caesars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook and WSOP Online all accrue Tier Credits alongside in-person play at its properties.

Caesars said Olympus members will also receive a newly designed Rewards card from February 1, 2027, separate from the cards issued to Seven Stars and lower tiers, and framed the launch as recognition for “most loyal and engaged members” rather than a broad-based perk expansion.

The Tier Arrives As Las Vegas Revenue Softens

The new top tier lands as Caesars' home market shows signs of strain. The operator's own second quarter results, filed with the SEC on July 28, 2026, showed Las Vegas net revenue fell 3.5% year over year to $1.01 billion for the quarter ended June 30, with adjusted EBITDA in the segment down 12.6%. Regional properties performed better over the same period, posting a 9.4% revenue increase.

Caesars is also working through a separate corporate transition. Its board has approved an $18 billion takeover by Fertitta Entertainment, owner of Nevada's Golden Nugget, following a bidding war with investor Carl Icahn.

Shareholder approval is the final step before the deal, expected to close by June 2027, becomes final. Caesars says it will notify Founding Members in January 2027, roughly four months before the Fertitta deal is due to complete.

Whether Olympus membership decisions or benefit levels change once new ownership takes over the Caesars Rewards programme has not been addressed by either company. Players tracking their own online sportsbook and casino activity toward the threshold have until the end of the year to accumulate credits before the qualification window closes.
