Inspired Entertainment Inc., a B2B gaming content provider as well as systems and solutions, announced Friday that it will be launching iGaming content in Connecticut with DraftKings.

Inspired Now in Three States

In coming to Connecticut, this marks the third state Inspired will be delivering its content. Set to launch with DraftKings, Inspired brings some signature titles such as Big Spin Bonus, Bullion Bars, and Gold Cash Free Spins.

Looking at these games, Big Spins Bonus has a layout that looks like it would be best optimized for a mobile app with its landscape-friendly look. The game features all of the signature symbols you’d see at a slot, such as fruits and Wild symbols.

Bullion Bars is an online slots game that takes it old school with only three reels and has nine win lines.

Gold Cash Free Spins goes back to that five-reel look with symbols resembling cash, gold, a “Q”, and a Wild symbol. Where Bullion Bars have nine win lines, Gold Cash Free Spins has plenty more than that with 40 different ways to win.

All of these games have their own characteristics that could cater to some players more than others, but having that parity should attract more of an audience.

iGaming Growing in Connecticut

Connecticut became the sixth state to offer online gambling, doing so in October 2021. Even though it is so new, that has not stopped the iGaming handles from rising.

The online gambling handle in January was $780.1 million and $814.9 million in December. To put that in perspective, the Connecticut online sports betting handle was $158 million in January and $150 million in December.

Those online casino handles came from two operators in the state and generated $19 million in online casino revenue.

"We are very excited to launch our best Interactive games early in the process in Connecticut, which is in its iGaming infancy," Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Operating Officer of Inspired, said in a news release. "We have grown our presence in both New Jersey and Michigan, where we are now represented with 70% of operators, respectively, and we intend to do the same in Connecticut. We view the North American iGaming market as a huge opportunity, and key to our strategy of growing the digital segments of our business."
