Kalshi Confirms Marketing Deals With Five MLB Teams, Including Red Sox
Kalshi formalizes deals with the Braves, Red Sox, Dodgers, Padres, and Giants.

Kalshi confirmed on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, that it has signed exclusive, multi-year marketing partnerships with five Major League Baseball franchises: the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants.
The announcement puts an official label on branding that had already been showing up at ballparks for weeks with no press release attached, marking one of the largest single pushes yet by a prediction market operator into professional sports.
Today, we’re partnering with five of the most iconic teams in baseball: Dodgers, Braves, Giants, Red Sox, and Padres.

The deals cover in-stadium signage, digital promotions, and, in some cases, team-specific offers inside the Kalshi app. The Dodgers' agreement includes naming rights for the Gold Glove Bar inside Dodger Stadium and season-long activations in Centerfield Plaza.
None of the five deals grants Kalshi access to MLB's official data feed through Sportradar, a distinction that sets it apart from Polymarket, which remains the league's official prediction-market partner.
Weeks of Unannounced Ballpark Branding
Before Tuesday's confirmation, the Dodgers had added Kalshi branding to their digital outfield signage earlier in August and placed a Kalshi decal behind home plate on August 21 and August 23, according to Sportico.
The Red Sox put Kalshi's logo in a social media graphic previewing an August 21 series against the San Francisco Giants and emailed their marketing list, encouraging fans to sign up for the app.
The Braves activated a similar arrangement without any announcement at the start of August.
None of the four teams or Kalshi issued a statement at the time, a pattern that let them sidestep the kind of backlash that hit the New York Mets in July. The Mets' notice of a partnership with rival prediction-market app Novig drew a wave of angry replies on X, and the team deleted its original post and tried again with little improvement in reception.
Red Sox Deal Collides With Massachusetts Lawsuit
The Red Sox partnership is arguably the most notable of the five because of Kalshi's ongoing legal fight in Massachusetts.
The state's Supreme Judicial Court is weighing whether Kalshi's sports-event contracts constitute illegal gambling under state law, a case brought by Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell. That leaves open the possibility that Kalshi could be an official Red Sox marketing partner while Massachusetts residents remain temporarily blocked from trading on Red Sox game outcomes on the platform.
Dodgers Face A California Tribal Conflict
California carries its own complications. The state has no legal sports betting, yet it is one of Kalshi's biggest markets for sports trading, and California tribes are fighting the company in federal court, with the Ninth Circuit expected to rule.
The Dodgers already have a decade-long sponsorship with Yaamava' Resort & Casino, owned by the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, a tribe that has argued prediction markets threaten tribal gaming exclusivity.
A Crowded Prediction Market Race For MLB
Kalshi's MLB push adds a third federally regulated operator to the league's team-level sponsorship map, joining the New York Yankees' deal with Polymarket and the Mets' arrangement with Novig. Kalshi is also in ongoing talks with MLB about a potential leaguewide agreement that would grant access to official data, trademarks, and logos, though Polymarket holds that official designation for now.
The muted rollout suggests that operators have learned from the Mets' experience and would rather let branding speak for itself than risk another public-relations misstep. With litigation still open in Massachusetts and California, how far Kalshi can push these partnerships on game day may ultimately be decided in court rather than in a press release.
