Michigan Player Won $20K on DraftKings’ In-House Game Rocket

Michigan online casino DraftKings announced on social media platform X that a player from the Wolverine State has won $20,750 on its proprietary game DraftKings Rocket. This is one of the first big wins on a crash game acquired by a Michigan player at the third-best ranked operator in the Great Lakes State. DraftKings did not share any more details about the lucky player but was happy to advertise the big win on a game with a six-digit winning potential.

Although this brand is best known for its sports betting operation, the iGaming section is not neglected. DraftKings is one of the most active Michigan casinos online in producing proprietary games, with a growing portfolio of slots and table games bearing its brand name while being shared with its sister operator, Golden Nugget online casino.

Crash games are gaining in popularity because of their simple gameplay and considerable payout potential, and DraftKings Rocket is one of this operator's flagship titles in this game category. Michigan players are apparently gravitating to this new game, as indicated by the latest win.

Exclusive In-House Crash Game

Rocket was created by DraftKings' in-house development team. It's the first game in DraftKings' portfolio to use ExitBet, a technology that explores entertainment-based gaming with communal themes and substantial RTP, which in Rocket's case is 97%.

As a typical crash game, this game is played with a rising rocket, and the player's responsibility is to cash out before the rocket stops its ascent by exploding. The multiplier increases as the rocket gains altitude and can reach 1000x a player's bet. DraftKings allows a max bet of $100, translating to a max win of $100,000, which is in the range of some jackpots available on slot games offered by DraftKings.

Reaching the 1000x multiplier is exceptionally difficult, and the game offers several features to help manage betting options. Players can manually cash out or use the Auto Cashout feature to bail the game once their multiplier value and stake reach a preset value. There is also a barrier of protection with the Stop on Loss feature, which limits losses. DraftKings has been known to make Michigan online casino bonus deals available for Rocket, but there's no regular offer yet.

Rocket also has a communal aspect, considering entertainment gaming was one of DraftKings' objectives when designing the game. As players join, the crowd grows, allowing them to hang on and enjoy the same action.

DraftKings Retains Its Role as a Market Leader in Michigan

DraftKings Casino secured its MGCB license in 2021, and since then, it has maintained a strong presence in the iGaming sector in the Great Lakes State. According to revenue data, this operator has been the third-best operator in Michigan for three consecutive years. It took in $36.8 million in bets in February and paid out two six-digit jackpots to players from the state. The lobby of DraftKings is populated by games for popular software vendors and an increasing number of proprietary games.
