Nevada Casino’s Renovation Includes New Sports Bar

The CasaBlanca Resort & Casino in Southern Nevada is undergoing a $6 million remodeling project, adding a sports bar and expanding the gaming floor to include 200 more slot machines, the company announced.
The resort is in Mesquite, about an hour northwest of Las Vegas on the Arizona border.
“Every dollar will go into making this already successful resort more welcoming and enjoyable for our customers,” said Mesquite Gaming’s Justin Moore.
Earlier this year, Moore was named Mesquite Gaming’s chief executive officer. His responsibilities include overseeing the operations at Mesquite Gaming’s two properties in the area, CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino.
A 25-year gaming industry executive, Moore has been general manager at Rivers Casino Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, vice president and assistant general manager at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino in Henderson, Nevada, and vice president and general manager at Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, New York.
In 1999, before moving on to executive roles across the country, Moore began his career as a food server at the Mesquite Star Casino in Mesquite.
“I’m so happy that my career has brought me full circle back to the city where I worked in my first casino,” Moore said.
Resort To Remain Open During Remodeling
In addition to a sports bar and more slots, the remodeling project at CasaBlanca will include a doubling of the Center Bar’s current size. All operations at the property will remain open during the project, which is set to begin in May and be completed by the fall.
The project is being designed by Steelman Partners, whose resume includes work for clients such as the Genting Group, MGM Resorts, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Wynn Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment.
