1. North Carolina Awards 8 Sports Betting Licenses Ahead of March Launch
The North Carolina State Lottery Commission announced Thursday that eight sportsbooks have received online sports betting licenses:

From Friday, residents can sign up on their mobile devices, ready to place secure bets on their favorite sports. We're dedicated to a smooth launch in just 11 days.'
