PokerStars Michigan Bounty Builder Series Offers $1.25 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool

The Bounty Builders series returns to Michigan online casino PokerStars as a concurrent event across three North American markets, with the merged players' pool for Michigan and New Jersey. The series is scheduled to start on February 16, last for 11 days, and conclude on February 26, with a two-day main event, which kicks off on February 25. The prize pool for the Main Event is $200.000.

Access to the Bounty Builder games is affordable, with special $3 Spin & Go games with a $300 Bounty Builder entry in the prizes, available in Michigan and the remaining markets. Players can explore different methods to secure entry into the games for a far lower price than the buy-in for the series. Satellites are running with buy-ins of $1, plus a dedicated Michigan online casino bonus for this series is announced and should be expected in the Spin & Go section.

There will be 200 games available across the three markets. Although progressive knockout games will dominate the series, players will get a few progressive total KO games and various bounty games. Aside from the no-limit hold 'em games in this poker festival, players can also indulge in various poker formats, with a few types of Omaha, including 5-card, PL Badugi, and NL 2-7 single draw.

Prizes Pools in Other North American Markets

Parallel to the Bounty Builder series in Michigan and New Jersey, PokerStars extends the poker festival into Pennsylvania and Ontario. The prize pool for Pennsylvania is $1 million, with $175.000 dedicated to the Main Event, and the winner will receive a trophy. Players from Ontario can compete for $750.000 guaranteed. The amount is in US dollars, not their Canadian counterpart, while the Main Event offers C$100.000. A trophy is also included.

The substantial guaranteed amount for the series is a motivating force for participation. However, PokerStars is not focusing only on the main action, offering an additional opportunity for players to win prizes while waiting for the next bout. The Bounty Builder leaderboard will be active during the festival, rewarding the ten best players with a total prize pool of $5,000 for each market. First place can earn a Michigan player $1,500.

PokerStars Returns the North American Poker Tour

PokerStars announced the reinstatement of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) in 2024. However, the tour's locations and dates are still undecided. Some preliminary information provided by the operator points towards Las Vegas as a potential location for the tour at the end of the year. It shouldn't be surprising if the poker tour finds a home in the regulated US markets, where PokerStars already has a presence, such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ontario, and New Jersey.
