WATCH: Bookmaker’s NFL Super Bowl Best Bets

In the Super Bowl episode of Gambling.com’s “The Edge,” professional bookmaker Casey Lewless offers advice on last-minute best bets.

The game in New Orleans between the NFL two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is scheduled to begin Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

At ESPN BET, the Chiefs are a 1.5-point favorite. The over/under is 48.5.

Hidden Gems, Winning Team

Lewless manages ESPN BET sportsbooks at the Margaritaville and Boomtown casinos in the Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana, market. In the video, he digs out some hidden gems for bettors to consider.

“I’m just trying to make you a profit at the end of the day,” Lewless says.

While noting that well-known players like Patrick Mahomes are getting a lot of prop-bet attention, Lewless explains why players such as the Chief’s Noah Gray and the Eagles’ Kenneth Gainwell are worth a prop bet.

In addition, Lewless says a winning margin by either team of 13-18 points is worth taking. He also looks at combining Super Bowl bets with some of the weekend’s NHL and PGA action.

Lewless’ final-score prediction might come as a surprise to some bettors and fans. Hint: He likes the Eagles.
