We’ll give you advice for betting on Major League Soccer games throughout the season.

Here, we pick some low odds and some big odds for this weekend’s MLS matches.

The Red Bulls to Beat the Portland Timbers 1-0, 2-0, or 3-0: +230 BetMGM

The New York Red Bulls will be aiming to keep the pressure on first-placed Philadelphia Union when they play the Portland Timbers, a team struggling in the Western Conference.

New York is unbeaten since the 2-1 loss to Montreal a month ago, with wins against Orlando City 3-0, Hartford Athletic 2-1 and Chicago Fire 2-1.

The Timbers are on a three-game winless run, tying 0-0 with the Houston Dynamo and Real Salt Lake, before they lost to the Colorado Rapids in their last game. All of it points towards an easy victory for the Red Bulls.

Atlanta to Beat Chicago and go Over 2.5 Goals: +180 DraftKings

Two sides looking to rejuvenate their playoff hopes after a shaky start will meet in Georgia.

Atlanta is winless in its past four games, and Ezra Hendrickson's Chicago team has two wins and three losses.

It’s vital for both sides to get a win here, as they cannot afford to drop further away from the playoffs, and Atlanta should get the job done here with the goals set to come in.

The New England Revs and Columbus Crew to Draw 2-2: +1200 BetMGM

Both the New England Revolution and Columbus Crew have had something to boast about in recent years. The the Crew won the MLS Cup in 2020 and the Revs eased to an Eastern Conference title with a 19-point gap on second-placed Philadelphia last year. This season, however, the two have taken a tumble. Columbus is seventh in the Eastern Conference and New England is 10th.

But with a combined total of 52 goal involvements across just 18 games, goals are certainly expected.

New England has conceded two goals in a game in two of its past five games, and a 2-2 draw could well be on the cards now.

It's crucial that the Revs get the win or they could drop to as low as five points off the playoffs after just 10 games.

Halftime Score 0-0, Full Game Score Austin 1-0 Between Austin and LA Galaxy: +1600 FanDuel

With many of the games this weekend between teams in opposite conferences, we have an all-Western Conference clash here with two of the top teams meeting.

Austin will be aiming to create a seven-point gap on the LA Galaxy with a win. The Galaxy has allowed just seven goals this season, so it won’t be easy.

But Austin is on a four-game winning streak in the MLS, and each match, except the victory against the Vancouver Whitecaps, has been by one goal.

At the same time, all four of the Galaxy's last fixtures have seen under 1.5 goals, including a 1-0 loss to Real Salt Lake in the last game with a second-half winner from Marcelo Silva.
