WATCH: NFL Top Fantasy Picks, Super Bowl Predictions

When picking an NFL fantasy team for the 2025-26 season, look first to Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, says Gambling.com content specialist Shannon Lane, formerly of NFL Media.
Barkley, a 6-foot, 232-pound Penn State product, led the NFL with 2,005 rushing yards last season and added 13 touchdowns for the eventual Super Bowl champions.
On Gambling.com’s “The Edge,” Lane said “the consensus” is that Barkley, pictured, will be the No. 1 pick on fantasy boards, “which makes sense.”
“The Eagles are returning 10 of their 11 offensive starters,” she said, “and we know that the Eagles like to use him early, often, and all over the field.”
Larry Henry, senior reporter at Gambling.com, said his first fantasy pick would be Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound Heisman winner at LSU who led the NFL last season in passing yardage (4,918) and passing touchdowns (43).
Lane and Henry also named their other fantasy options, depending on whether your top choice is taken by the time you make your first pick.
In addition, Lane and Henry named their picks to win this season’s Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Both think the Baltimore Ravens have a good shot at the title. Lane's long-shot pick is the Washington Commanders. Henry's is the Bengals or, as a long, long shot, the Detroit Lions.
