The "MasterChef" butchery continued Wednesday night when another double episode elimination saw two cooks get the chop, leaving just nine remaining in the competition.

Tight At The Top

James was sent home in Episode 13, "Fish Out of Water Mystery Box,” while Lizzie and Grant got a grilling but narrowly survived.

However, Lizzie could only manage one more effort, as she was eliminated in Episode 14, "Kelsey's Stadium Food.”

"MasterChef" Season 13 has new co-favorites, after both Brynn and Kennedy hit the front at +150 in the futures betting.

But they face stiff competition from +200 chances Wayne and Kolby in the bid to win the $250,000 prize and the title of "America's MasterChef.”

Brynn leapt to the head of the betting odds list after victory in Episode 14, when she wowed with her lobster roll, and she will now have immunity in the next episode.

Kennedy has joined her as joint-favorite after she finished in the top three in Episode 13, and she is a worthy frontrunner after failing to hit the bottom three at any point in this year's contest.

Wayne's Episode 13 victory, which saw judge Gordon Ramsay commend him for "nailing" his catfish cookery, has seen his price elevated from +400 to +200.

Kolby's Title Chances Begin To Melt

Former favorite Kolby's price slipped slightly from +150 to +200 after he finished in the bottom three in Episode 14, after messing up his sliders.

The cook had hit a hat-trick of top threes in a row before coming unstuck in the "Kelsey's Stadium Food" episode, when he served up more bread than meat in his patty melt.

Kolby feared he might be going home, but after surviving he is still very much in contention to win the contest.

While Brynn triumphed in the episode, Jennifer and Madame Donut also made the top three.

Donut chose to make a dish she knows a thing or two about, donuts, and she was praised by judge Joe Bastianich for her "professional creation.”

Jennifer is now +400, from +500, and Donut is into +500 for “MasterChef" victory, even in price with Episode 12 winner Sav.

Grant On Borrowed Time

Reagan remains a +700 outsider after failing to make the top or bottom three for the past four episodes.

But Grant is currently propping up the "MasterChef" market at +1000 after he landed in the bottom three in both Episodes 13 and 14.

Grant could well be on borrowed time and should think himself fortunate to still be in the competition after serving up raw dough in his pulled pork tetelas in the latest episode.

After chewing through the dish, panelist Bastianich said, "That hits you like a sledgehammer.”

Grant will be hoping to avoid the chop in next week's double episodes, "Patio Grilling Challenge" and "The Wall.”

Betting Odds: Who Will Win?

  • Brynn +150
  • Kennedy +150
  • Wayne +200
  • Kolby +200
  • Jennifer +400
  • Madame Donut +500
  • Sav +500
  • Reagan +700
  • Grant +1000
