MLS Picks for Game Week 4
< class="grid-title">

St. Louis City continues to stun soccer fans by sitting top of the table in its first-ever MLS season as play moves into Game Week 4.

It was a low-scoring las week, as only four of the 12 games saw over 2.5 goals.

With this in mind, here are our picks for Game Week four to help with your MLS betting.

Los Angeles (+195) at Seattle Sounders (+115)

The defending MLS Cup champions, Los Angeles, aims to get its third win of the season in MLS as it continues to establish itself as the team to beat once again.

It has defeated the Portland Timbers 3-2 and New England Revolution 4-0 so far.

Seattle has started the season well by beating the Colorado Rapids 4-0 and Real Salt Lake 2-0, although it did lose to Cincinnati 1-0. With this said, we think the champs are headed for another win.

PICK: LAFC to win 2-0 is +1800 with FanDuel.

Nashville (+200) at New England (+120)

Nashville's excellent start to the season continued with a victory over Montreal last weekend. It now means NSC has beaten first and second from last year's Eastern Conference already while also getting a tie against the New York Red Bulls, who were fourth.

New England was battered 4-0 by LAFC last time out, and we think Nashville should win here again.

PICK: Hany Mukhtar to score and Nashville to win is +443 with FanDuel.

Portland Timbers (+330) at Atlanta United (-150)

The Portland Timbers are looking for their first win in two games after conceding five goals and losing to LAFC and St. Louis City.

Atlanta seems to be establishing itself as a serious contender for the playoffs this year, as it beat San Jose Earthquakes and Charlotte 3-0.

We’re predicting another win for Gonzalo Pineda's side.

PICK: Atlanta to win 3-0 is +1500 with FanDuel

Columbus Crew (+330) New York Red Bulls (-130)

The Columbus Crew has registered only one win in its first three MLS games of the season, defeating D.C. United 2-0. It tied with Toronto last weekend, but it will be confident in getting a win against a Red Bulls team without a victory so far.

However, New York is at home, and we think it’s due for its first win of the season.

PICK: New York Red Bulls to win 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 is +420 with FanDuel.

Philadelphia Union (+160) at Montreal (+145)

After finishing second last year, Montreal has not even scored a goal in its first three games and lost them all. Now up against last season’s Eastern Conference winners, we think Philadelphia will ease to a win.

PICK: Philadelphia to win and under 2.5 goals is +548 with FanDuel.

D.C. United (+410) at New York City (-185)

D.C. United’s poor form of last season has spilled into this year and New York City is a huge favorite to win here.

Wayne Rooney's team did defeat Toronto on opening weekend, but it has since tied with Orlando City and lost to Columbus.

At the same time, New York got a fantastic three points against Inter Miami in its first win of the season. Now back at the Yankee Stadium, it should win again.

PICK: New York to win, over 1.5 goals and both teams not to score is +312 with FanDuel.

Inter Miami (+240) at Toronto (-105)

Miami lost for the first time this season when it met with New York at Yankee Stadium. However, it has already lost to the top two from last year's Eastern Conference.

At the same time, despite a lot of expectations on its shoulders, Toronto is yet to win a game this year. A loss here would seriously crank up the pressure on Bob Bradley.

Despite being at home, we think Miami will get another win here after conceding just one goal in three games.

PICK: Inter Miami to win 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 is +750 with FanDuel.

Charlotte (+240) at Orlando City (-105)

Charlotte and Orlando have both had poor starts to the 2023 season, and after letting in seven goals and scoring one, Charlotte is last in the Eastern Conference after three games.

Orlando’s one win and two ties mean it is unbeaten so far in 2023, but a bit more was expected. Nevertheless, this run has brought in two goals and just one conceded so far, meaning only Nashville has a better defensive record after three games.

Back in Florida, Orlando should get another win.

PICK: Facundo Torres to score anytime and Orlando to win is +376 with FanDuel.

San Jose Earthquakes (+280) at St. Louis City (-125)

What a sensational start to life in MLS it has been for St. Louis. It has so far won all three games and scored eight times and established itself as a real contender for the playoffs.

San Jose, however, will be a tough test. The Quakes have defeated the Colorado Rapids and Vancouver Whitecaps in their past two games.

Jamiro Monteiro is set to miss this game for San Jose after his red card against Colorado, and he will be heavily missed in the center of the field.

St. Louis should get another win to make it four out of four.

PICK: St. Louis to win, over 2.5 goals and Joao Klauss to score anytime is +327 with FanDuel.

Cincinnati (+165) at Chicago Fire (+140)

Cincinnati is at Chicago in what is the toughest game to call this weekend. Chicago may be winless in its first two games, but it has had two tough games against Philadelphia and New York City.

It tied with New York in one of those games, but Cincinnati has managed to beat Seattle and Houston Dynamo and tie with Orlando City. We think another tie is in order here.

PICK: A tie is +230 with FanDuel.

Austin (+170) at Houston Dynamo (+130)

A Texas derby in Houston could end up stealing the headlines in a very tough game to call.

The Dynamo has lost both of its games so far after a 3-0 defeat to New England and a 2-1 loss to Cincinnati.

Austin has moved on from a loss on opening weekend by defeating Montreal and Real Salt Lake, as it also managed to beat Violette in the second leg of its CONCACAF Champions League round of 16 game in midweek thanks to two goals from Sebastian Driussi.

Austin’s poor start has been forgotten about, and we think it will win again here.

PICK: Sebastian Driussi to score anytime and Austin to win is +405 with FanDuel.

Sporting Kansas City (+270) at Dallas (-115)

Dallas has tied with Vancouver, lost to Minnesota and beat the LA Galaxy in its first three games of 2023. Kansas City, however, has tied in two goalless games with Colorado and the Galaxy and lost to Portland.

In reality, it’s looking like another terrible season in store for Kansas City, and we can’t see anything but a Dallas win in this one.

PICK: Dallas to win, Jesus Ferreira to score anytime and both teams not to score is +604 with FanDuel.

Vancouver Whitecaps (+360) at LA Galaxy (-165)

Despite beating Real Espana 5-0 in the CONCACAF Champions League, it has been a terrible season so far for Vancouver Whitecaps. It lost 2-1 to Salt Lake and San Jose and tied 1-1 with Dallas last weekend.

The LA Galaxy, however, is experiencing one of its worst starts to an MLS campaign in recent memory, as it lost 3-1 to Dallas before a 0-0 tie with struggling Kansas City.

The Galaxy is a huge favorite to win this one, but given how this is their first game at home in 2023, we think it could win here.

PICK: LA Galaxy to win at full time and half time, over 2.5 goals in the game and Chicharito to score anytime +338 with FanDuel.
