The Boston Celtics come into this second-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks on a high. They swept the Brooklyn Nets in a series that many thought would go the distance. So how does that affect your NBA betting strategy?

How Boston Comes in

No team remaining in the playoffs is playing with more confidence than the Celtics and they are going to bring the same physicality and intensity for this Game 1 matchup at the TD Arena in Boston.

The Celtics are 4.5-point favorites and the total is at 218.5 points.

I like betting the Over in this game. The Bucks are on a solid 12-3 Over win streak since game 41 (in the second half of the regular season) when facing an opponent that is allowing 108 or fewer points per game.

How Milwaukee Comes in

The Bucks enter Game 1 of this series on a three-game win streak and have seen their last five games play to the Under.

They are 42-28-1 Over after two or more consecutive wins and 28-13-1 Over after winning three or more consecutive games spanning the last two regular and playoff seasons.

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer is 27-12-1 Over in road games and coming off two consecutive against the spread wins installed as the favorite in each of the two games.
Bet the Over 218.5 points.
