To get your ready for your NBA betting, we give you advice on how to wager on tonight’s playoff games.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors, Game 3

The 76ers held home-court service in dominating fashion to take a 2-0 lead over the Raptors, defeating them by a combined 35 points and covering the spread by a combined 25 points.

Initially a dive into the database shows us that teams playing in Game 3 after winning the first two games by a combined total of 30 or more points are 28-29 straight-up and 26-30-1 against the spread, including a 24-31-2 Over-Under record.

Digging deeper, we learn that these 2-0 teams lined in Game 3 between a 3.5-point underdog and a 3.5-point favorite struggle. They are 11-16 straight-up mark and a 10-17-1 against the spread, for just 37% winning bets, including a 13-14 Over-Under record spanning the last 20 playoff seasons.

How This Translates to Tonight’s Game

The 76ers took to the fast break at every opportunity and wore down the Raptors physically throughout the first two games of this series.

The 76ers scored 29 fast-break points in Game 1 and 22 in Game 2. In Game 3 of a seven-game series, a team that scored 40 or more fast break points in the first two games went on to a 24-9 straight-up record and 22-11 against the spread mark for 67% winning bets over the past 20 playoff seasons. They are also 7-1 against the spread for 88% winning bets over the past five playoff seasons.

I like the 76ers minus the 1.5 points to take a commanding 3-0 lead in this series.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics Game 2

The Nets were down 14 points early in the fourth quarter and stormed back to take a late lead before Jayson Tatum hit an uncontested layup at the buzzer to win Game 1.

As happy as the Celtic players appeared to have been on the court after the win, I can’t help but wonder if they feel perhaps a bit intimidated by the Nets and the ferocity of their comeback that nearly won the game.

The Betting Markets’ Take on Game 2

The betting markets see it that way in early action. The Celtics opened as 4-point home favorites and the money has steadily moved to the Nets, who are now installed as 3.5-point road underdogs.

The Total opened at 228 points and has seen many more bets on the Under being placed and causing the number to dip lower to the current price of 226 points.

The First-Half Bet Offers a Solid Opportunity

The following betting system using the first half betting line has produced a 39-12 ATS record good for 77% winning bets over the past 25 NBA seasons, including the playoffs.

The requirements are to bet on road teams using the first half betting line that are coming off a road loss of three or fewer points to a divisional foe.

I like betting the Nets using the first half betting lines.
