Nine weeks into the college football season, the 2022 Heisman Trophy Watch continues. Who are we watching this week? Who is trending up or down?

Every Monday, at Gambling.com, we will look at some prominent names while maybe finding a gem or two. Here is the latest.

Bryce Young - Alabama Crimson Tide (+2200 on DraftKings)

Young was efficient against Mississippi State on Saturday. He tossed two more touchdowns and 249 yards through the air. There were no moments of note. He slides back a little more.

C.J. Stroud - Ohio State Buckeyes (+100 on DraftKings)

Stroud performed great against an Iowa team that was one of the best in the nation. He threw for four touchdowns, nearly 300 yards, and only had one interception. Next up is Penn State.

Caleb Williams - USC Fighting Trojans (+1400 on DraftKings)

Williams was on a bye last week. His next game is Saturday at Arizona, where the signal-caller could pile up some yards and touchdowns.

Max Duggan - TCU Horned Frogs (+10000 on DraftKings)

The quarterback was stopped from running the ball (18 carries, 13 yards) but managed 280 through the air and three scores. Duggan played better in the second half, but TCU’s defense and Kendre Miller stole the show. This week might have sealed his fate.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson - UCLA Bruins (+2500 on DraftKings)

Thompson-Robinson was off in the first half against Oregon and put up some numbers as UCLA lost 45-30 at Oregon. His 262 yards passing and just 38 yards rushing were not enough. He made several mistakes and got outdueled by his opponent, Bo Nix.

Hendon Hooker - Tennessee Volunteers (+200 on DraftKings)

Hooker only played in the first half against Tennessee-Martin and was 18-of-24 for 276 yards and three touchdowns. Next up is Kentucky on Saturday. In two weeks, the second choice on many Heisman boards faces the Wildcats and then the Georgia Bulldogs.

Blake Corum - Michigan Wolverines (+1400 on DraftKings)

Corum had the luxury of a bye week this week. His next game is home to Michigan State on primetime television this Saturday night.

Bo Nix - Oregon (+3000 on DraftKings)

Nix stepped up and delivered on ABC against UCLA. He went 22-of-28 passing for 283 yards and five touchdowns. The signal-called added 51 more yards on eight carries. With the win, Oregon controls its destiny in the Pac-12. Oregon plays California and Colorado in the next two weeks, where Nix should stay on the radar.

Jahmyr Gibbs - Alabama (+4000 on DraftKings)

Gibbs was not that impressive on Saturday against Mississippi State. He had a touchdown, but just 70 yards total from scrimmage. That might end any slim chances Gibbs had of ending up in New York City.

Sam Hartman - Wake Forest (+5000 on DraftKings)

Unlike D.J. Uiagalelei from Clemson, who melted under the Heisman spotlight, Hartman keeps producing outrageous numbers for Wake Forest. He tossed five touchdowns and ran for another in a 43-15 rout of Boston College. The quarterback goes up against Louisville on Saturday, where he could pile up more numbers.
