As November enters Thanksgiving week, the 2022 Heisman Trophy Watch keeps an eye on those college football games. Who are we watching this week? Who is trending up or down? Who has seen their hopes dashed?

Every Monday, at Gambling.com, we will look at some prominent names while maybe finding a gem or two. Anyway, here is the latest.

Bryce Young - Alabama Crimson Tide (+10000 on DraftKings)

Bryce Young was not quite his usual self, even against Austin Peay on Saturday. Alabama scored 34 points as the Crimson Tide did not cover the 44-point spread. Again, with no SEC Championship, Young has just the Iron Bowl to impress voters, which is far from a certainty at this point. The Alabama signal-caller will not repeat this year and likely will not get into the top five when it comes to voting.

C.J. Stroud - Ohio State Buckeyes (-120 on DraftKings)

C.J. Stroud kept his team on the straight and narrow Saturday. Ohio State was far from its best but won by 13 at Maryland. It was an unexpectedly entertaining contest. Stroud threw for just 241 yards and a touchdown. More importantly, the Buckeyes won. It is going to come down to Michigan. Do watch for one thing. Stroud did appear to get injured late in the Maryland game. It may be nothing, but then again could be something to monitor.

Caleb Williams - USC Fighting Trojans (+120 on DraftKings)

Caleb Williams helped USC inch past UCLA on Saturday. Williams passed for 470 yards and two touchdowns, then ran for another score. Next is Notre Dame for the talented Sophomore. Notre Dame’s defense has steadily improved each week, and it will be a test. Furthermore, the game will be in primetime. Williams can book his trip to New York City.

Max Duggan - TCU Horned Frogs (+4000 on DraftKings)

The quarterback performed better this week, but the kicking team will get more praise. Their ability to get the TCU field-goal kicker out with the clock running and deliver a strike was impressive. More importantly, TCU is still undefeated as Duggan threw for 324 yards and a score in the win. The Horned Frog signal-caller added a rushing touchdown too.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson - UCLA Bruins (OTB)

Dorian Thompson-Robinson had one of those incredible yet flawed performances on Saturday against USC. Thompson-Robinson accounted for all six UCLA touchdowns (four in the air and two on the ground). Unfortunately, the quarterback made three crucial mistakes which all directly led to points for USC. The Trojans’ narrow win ended the Thompson-Robinson’s faint Heisman hopes.

Hendon Hooker - Tennessee Volunteers (OTB)

Hendon Hooker was a little off on Saturday, but the Tennesee defense was horrendous. That did not matter, as Tennessee lost 63-38 to South Carolina. Sadly, Hooker was lost too. He tore his ACL in the defeat and will be gone for the rest of the season. The Volunteer ends the 2022 season with 3135 passing yards and 27 touchdowns. Hooker added 430 yards and five more touchdowns via the ground. His odds are now off the board.

Blake Corum - Michigan Wolverines (+1500 on DraftKings)

Blake Corum was on his way with over 100 yards rushing against Illinois in the first half before a knee injury knocked him out of the game early in the third quarter on Saturday. The good news is that Michigan managed to prevail over the Fighting Illini. The bad news is no one is certain if Corum will play on Saturday against Ohio State. Tests hopefully will confirm a diagnosis quickly. The Michigan running back will be a vital cog in slowing down the Buckeyes' attack err keeping them off the field. Bo Nix - Oregon (+6000 on DraftKings)

Nix did not pile up the numbers against Utah as Caleb Williams did earlier in the season. His only solace is that he gets another week on the radar. That is because Oregon won 20-17. This means the Oregon State clash will be another chance to improve his numbers. Also, a win gets Oregon to a meeting with USC in the Pac-12 title game.

Jayden Daniels - LSU (+4000 on DraftKings)

All Jayden Daniels did was pile up 408 yards (111 rushing) in an easy win over UAB on Saturday. Daniels had one touchdown passing and one on the ground. The big game for him will be December 3rd versus Georgia.

Stetson Bennett - Georgia (+8000 on DraftKings)

Again, Stetson Bennett has an eye on December 3rd versus LSU. Saturday against Kentucky was a stinker, though. The Senior quarterback threw just 19 passes in all. He wound up with 116 yards through the air and 25 on the ground. Bennett did not account for a single touchdown as his numbers took a gut punch. Can he deliver against LSU? That is questionable right now.

Jalin Hyatt - Tennessee (OTB)

Sadly, Jalin Hyatt is finished as far as the Heisman after the injury to Hendon Hooker. It was a heck of a season for the wide receiver, however.

Drake Maye - North Carolina (+10000 on DraftKings)

Drake Maye finally turned in a stinker against Georgia Tech. In a game where North Carolina was a 20+ point favorite, Maye wilted under the pressure in a 21-17 loss. Hey, he is a Freshman, after all. These things will happen.  Maye had just 202 yards passing and 14 carries for 13 yards. At lest , the signal-caller has games against North Carolina State and Clemson left.
