Gambling.com continues with some Game 2s this second NHL round. Yes, the road teams stole Game 1 in both series here. Now, can Toronto and Dallas rebound to even their best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series?

Here are a few takeaways on what expects to be another fun hockey night.

Schedule Breakdown

Simply, here is tonight’s breakdown.

  • Florida Panthers at Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00 pm ET
  • Seattle Kraken at Dallas Stars - 9:30 pm ET

The schedule keeps a nice, steady rhythm. As always, get ready for some expected and some unexpected.

These Game 1s Were Different

Florida flew from Boston straight to Toronto after their win on Sunday night. That showed in Tuesday’s Game 1. The Panthers were ready to play, while the Maple Leafs could not match their intensity. At one point, hits were in Florida’s favor 21-5. Matthew Tkachuk leads the Panthers team into war. Toronto will have to fight for every inch of space.

Naturally, Dallas had something strange happen too. Jake Oettinger looked human in Game 1. He lost another overtime opener, but this was different from most contests. Seattle and Dallas combined for six goals in the opening 20 minutes on Tuesday. Overall, nine goals were scored. These teams combined to score 7+ goals a night in their season matchup. Keep that in mind.

TNT Know Drama And Puck Tonight

Thursday’s two games are over the air on TNT tonight. Local coverage will only be available for pre and post-game coverage. Up in Canada, Sportsnet, CBC, and TVAS carry the game.

Florida Panthers at Toronto Maple Leafs

Florida looked ready for Game 1, and Toronto forgot the memo. It was easy, as Florida stole the opener by a 4-2 score. Sergei Bobrovsky allowed less than three goals for the first time in all playoffs, made over 30 stops, and often seemed to frustrate Toronto’s top forwards.

The concern for Toronto is they had no answers for the Matthew Tkachuk line. Consider that Sheldon Keefe has the last line change, which becomes a little more troublesome. Maybe Toronto had too much rest. Perhaps it was the euphoria of finally winning a playoff series. Now, it is time for the Maple Leafs to come out and play.

Hey, we cannot forget that other Thursday night game.

Seattle Kraken at Dallas Stars

Thankfully, there is a live betting option in the world. Sometimes when we research a game, we make a glaring error here and there. To err is human. Here is what was missed. Seattle and Dallas just like scoring goals. Despite the goaltending, Seattle ranked fourth in goals, and Dallas was seventh in the league. Combined, they averaged almost seven goals a game.

Furthermore, the season matchups saw that number creep above seven. Will Game 2 be a repeat of Game 1? No. However, goals can be had. That creates more opportunities for player props and maybe a save prop. However, with the games being close, the Puckline may be too risky.

While five different Seattle players scored on Tuesday, Joe Pavelski went Bugs Bunny and scored all four goals for Dallas. The Stars will likely see more balance on Thursday night.

Some Wagers To Consider Placing For The Game 2s

  • Oliver Bjorkstrand's 4+ shots are rolling in at +165. Over 0.5 points are EVEN.
  • The Roope Hintz anytime goal prop is +150.
  • Sergei Bobrovsky save prop take the over. See where it lands.
  • Goal scored in the first nine minutes of the Dallas game is at -115.
  • A tiny flier on both teams scoring 3+ goals in Dallas is +275.
  • Jason Robertson, over 1.5 points is at +175.
  • Florida and Toronto both scoring three goals is +135.
  • Mitch Marner recording 2+ assists is at +210.

Good luck, and once again, thanks for reading! We will carry some more plays on social media as conditions warrant.
