The most famous rivalry in English soccer will enter its 211th edition this Sunday as Manchester United heads to Liverpool with 10 points separating the two teams.
As Liverpool aims to get back into the Champions League spots just as United eyes up second place, here are our soccer betting picks for the big game this Sunday.
Over 2.5 Goals
Although United heads into this one in much better form and with a lot more points on the board, the Red Devils don’t always have it their way at Anfield. Liverpool smashed them 4-0 on Merseyside last season, and the past five meetings between these two have brought in over 2.5 goals.
This season, both have conceded 28 goals and United has scored one more goal (41) than Liverpool in the Premier League. The Reds also returned to winning ways on Wednesday with a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield.
If Marcus Rashford can continue his exceptional goalscoring form, he might end up getting one or two goals all by himself. Either way, we expect plenty of goals again between these two rivals.

Against United, Salah has a sensational record. The Egyptian has scored 10 goals against it in 11 games and also registered two assists to equal a goals contribution record of 13 in 10 matches.
As the forward is back in goalscoring form and back at Anfield, we think he’ll get in on the act against United again.
