An up-and-down day has put Tiger Woods’ 22 straight made cuts streak at the the Masters in jeopardy.

On a day when Woods’ irons failed to give him consistent birdie chances and he struggled with the speed of the greens at Augusta National, Woods finished with a 2-over-par 74.

Woods struggled through the first seven holes, playing those at 3-over-par. But he managed to bounce back on the eighth with a birdie on the par 5 that was playing as one of the most accessible holes on the course.

The inconsistency continued when Woods found himself in trouble once again on the par 4 11th. His third shot landed short of the green and into the bunker. He was able to get up and down from there to save bogey.

Woods’ best stretch of holes came on the 15th and 16th. He sank a 27-foot putt on the par 5 15th for his second birdie of the round before sticking his tee shot on the par 3 16th just eight feet from the pin. Woods converted the putt to get to 1-over par.

One of the main storylines following Woods has been how he’s dealt with his injured right leg. He had a health scare on 18 when his ball stopped at the edge of a fairway bunker and left him with an awkward stance in the sand. Woods managed to hit his ball up into a greenside bunker but flexed his leg afterward. A final bogey on 18 left him with a score of 2-over par.

Woods' Odds

Woods entered the tournament at +8500 on FanDuel to win his sixth green jacket.

Those odds have ballooned to +100000 at Caesars as he sits nine strokes behind Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm, who share the tournament lead after finishing at 7-under par midway through the first round.

DraftKings also has Woods listed as a longshot in the Top 10 and top five markets, sitting at +2800 to finish in the Top 10 and +11000 for a top-five finish.

The only bet Woods would have decent odds of converting would be to make the cut. But with the second round still ongoing, the market for the wager won’t come out until later Thursday night once the first round has concluded.

Woods entered the week –165 to make the cut. He currently sits in a tie for 54th place. At the Masters, the top 50 and ties advance to make the cut and play the weekend.
