Rumors continue to circulate online about Tiger Woods’ potential return to the Masters next week.

But golf betting enthusiasts and fans finally have some positive signs Woods might be back for one of the marquee events of the year.

Hope for Tiger Woods at the Masters

Woods’ plane was tracked online by golf enthusiasts who saw his flight take him from an airport in Stuart, Florida to Augusta earlier today. Sources have reported Woods arrived at Augusta National with his son Charlie and planned to play a practice round.

There have been signs leading up to Tuesday that hinted at Woods’ possible comeback. The Masters keeps two lists: one with 2022 invitees and another titled “Past Champions Not Playing.” Woods has remained on the former.

It also has been reported that eyewitnesses have seen Woods play twice and walk the Medalist Golf Club in Florida last week. There was an Instagram video of Woods at the course, but it was later deleted.

Still, nothing is confirmed, and this is all speculation based on internet sources and eyewitnesses. There has yet to be any documented footage of Woods walking off the plane or him at Augusta, but one doesn’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to deduce Woods is likely testing his body before giving it a go at next week’s Masters.

Woods hasn’t played professionally since his car accident on Feb. 23, 2021, which fractured both the tibia and fibula in his right leg. He was last seen competing in December with Charlie at the PNC Championship where he was able to use a cart to navigate the course. The 2020 Masters was Woods’ last professional tournament. He shot 1-under par and finished 38.

Woods’ Odds at the Masterns

Sportsbooks have reacted to the recent internet rumors around Woods. At Caesars Sportsbook, Woods moved from +6600 to +5000 to win the Masters.

BetRivers also announced similar line movement with Woods going from +6600 to +5000.

Woods is +5000 at FanDuel Sportsbook and BetMGM Sportsbook. DraftKings Sportsbook has the best number of the bigger sportsbooks, with Woods at +7000. If you’re in Colorado or Iowa and want to bet Woods, look to Circa Sportsbook which currently has Woods at +12500.

Be sure to read your sportsbook’s rules to find out what happens if Woods decides not to tee it up next week. Some sportsbooks will void the bet, whereas others grade all bets as action whether the golfer you bet on tees off or not.
