Throughout the season, we will give you MLB betting advice for two games each day and throw in a few quick pitches for prop bets, Over-Under bets or moneyline bets on other games.

Boston Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays

The Red Sox are off to a somewhat disappointing start to the 2022 MLB season, but they are playing in one of the toughest divisions in baseball.

The Blue Jays are tied with the Yankees atop the American League East and are three games ahead of Boston. It is only April, but these divisional series are already important to these franchises.

The Situational Trends and Angles

Red Sox skipper Alex Cora is 37-17 making 21.2 Units per unit wagered against the moneyline in road games vs. a team with a good bullpen that converts on 75%+ of their save opportunities.

Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo is 5-13, losing 11 units per unit wagered in home games followig a 1-run loss.

I like betting the Red Sox at eight runs.

Arizona vs. L.A. Dodgers

The Dodgers are the best team in baseball based on my machine learning-based weightings.

The Diamondbacks are going to struggle to be anywhere close to a .500 team.

The Dodgers rank Top 5 in situational betting, starting pitching and bullpen. There is is no weakness that, as of now, needs to be fixed by the trade deadline.

Trends and Angles Supporting the Dodgers

Arizona is 11-44, losing 30 units per unit wagered following a three-game span that the bullpen threw 13 or more total innings over the past two seasons.

The Diamondbacks are 21-64, losing 35 units per unit wagered in games with a posted total between 7 and 8.5 runs over the past two seasons.

I live the Dodgers on the moneyline.
