As we get closer to football season, we’ll break down several NFL betting options to keep on the radar. Today we’re looking at team win totals, one in the AFC and one in the NFC.

Titans Still Strong

Let’s look at the Tennessee Titans, who won the AFC South Division with a 12-5 record, three wins better than the second-place Indianapolis Colts.

The Titans were 10-8 against the spread (ATS) and 8-10 Over-Under.

BetMGM Sportsbook has the Titans at 9.5 wins for this season and to bet the Over you get plus money of 120 and to bet the Under you must pay –145.

I see no regression with this team and have them being playoff bound with at least 10 wins.

I am betting Over 9.5 wins.

What is ‘Plus Money?’

For those new to sports betting, plus money means you get back more money than you wager if your bet wins.

So, with my Over 9.5 wins bet, my $100 will return $220 if the Titans win 10 or more games.

The $220 includes the original $100 wagered plus the $120 in profit from the winning bet. If you bet the Under 9.5 wins, you must lay down $145 to win $100.

So, if the Under bet wins you would receive $245 in return, which is the original $145 bet and the $100 profit.

The Eagles are Vastly Undervalued

The Philadelphia Eagles are significantly undervalued based on my research and I think they have the potential to compete for an NFC Championship.

Teams that win conference championships are usually the ones that remain the healthiest overall.

So, if the Eagles can keep their starters on the field and not with an orthopedic surgeon, they have an excellent shot this season to outperform current expectations.

I think they split their six games against the NFC East divisional foes that include the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Commanders, and the New York Giants.

In Week 1 they host the rebuilding Detroit Lions and I expect them to win that game comfortably. They also take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who were the worst team in the NFL last season. We are now at five wins on the season.

They have their bye in Week 7 and this is where the table is set for three consecutive wins.

This stretch starts with a home date against the rebuilding Pittsburgh Steelers, then a road game against a struggling Houston Texans franchise, and then is capped off with home win over the Commanders.

This will be the second meeting with the Commanders and if they happen to sweep them, would put their win total at eight.

They also have a winnable home game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 that would put them at 9-8 for the season.

At BetMGM, the current wins total for the Eagles is 7.5 and you must pay -110 to be either the Over or the Under.

I am on the Over 7.5 paying -110 ($110 to win $100 profit) and see this as the biggest value bet on the board.
