Manchester City can win its third consecutive Premier League title this weekend when it plays hosts to Chelsea at the Etihad. 

Chelsea is aiming to get into the Top 10 in the final few games of the 2022/23 season.

Manchester City to Win

At odds of -390 just to win the game, there isn’t much doubt in City winning this match.

After a win on Wednesday, it is now on course to win an historic treble and become only the second English club to do so after beating the European champions Real Madrid 4-0. City is also four points clear of Arsenal in the table and can win the Premier League title by getting all three points in this match.

Chelsea also lost 4-0 to City at the Etihad back in an FA Cup match earlier in the season. City also beat it 1-0 back at Stamford Bridge and 2-0 in an EFL Cup game in late 2022.

Chelsea has also only won one game under Frank Lampard and is surely going to lose again here.

Erling Haaland to Score 

Although he couldn’t grab a goal in the 4-0 win against Real Madrid, Erling Haaland has still managed to score 52 times this season, including 36 in the Premier League. The Norwegian did not score in his last game against Chelsea, meaning it is one of the only teams in the Premier League yet to concede a goal from him.

As it is the game where City can win the league trophy, Haaland will likely be the main man once again.

It’s that time of year again where City’s Ilkay Gundogan seems to always have a say. Last season, he scored the two decisive goals in a 3-2 comeback win against Aston Villa to win the league title, and he has now scored four of City’s last five Premier League goals.

The German midfielder has now netted eight Premier League goals this season and he will surely be involved yet again for City against Chelsea.
