Coach Nick Saban will be going for back-to-back CFP National Championship wins and his 6th appearance in the CFP finals game as the Crimson Tide head coach. Georgia was a favorite for their semifinal vs Michigan Wolverines in the Orange Bowl. The Bulldogs exceeded the expectations by plowing through Michigan with a convincing 34-11 final score.
