We’ve used the data from around Major League Soccer and examined the latest odds for the upcoming games to see what the most statistically-backed outcomes are set to be for the weekend matches.

Both Teams to Score and New England and Philadelphia to Tie: 32%

It’s not often we get to this stage of the season and see both teams to score and a tie be so likely. However, with the Philadelphia Union at the top of the Eastern Conference registering the most draws in all of the MLS in 2022 with six, the New England Revolution will be hopeful of getting at least a point to recharge their playoff aims.

The Revs have only drawn three times this campaign, but two of these have come in their past three MLS fixtures. They have also scored (21) almost as many as they have conceded (22), and it seems as if all signs are pointing to another tie at the Gillette Stadium.

LAFC to Beat San Jose and Over 2.5 Goals in the Game: 38.5%

After losing to city rivals, LA Galaxy, Los Angeles FC will turn its attention back to the MLS as it looks to keep Austin at bay and stay on top of the Western Conference.

Against a San Jose Earthquakes side who have let in a stunning 29 goals already in just 13 games, Carlos Vela and Co. will be eager to get this game going.

The Quakes have scored 23 goals, and it would be quite incredible if this game didn’t hit the Over 2.5 goals with LAFC being the second-highest scorers in the league.

Both teams have seen over 60% of their games end with over 2.5 goals.

Gazdag to Score Anytime Against New England: 53.8%

Daniel Gazdag continued his excellent start to the 2022 season with another goal in the previous match as the Union eased past the Portland Timbers.

Gazdag netted his seventh goal of the campaign, which now puts him joint-third in the table for the top goalscorer, with only Sebastian Driussi and Jesus Ferreira getting more.

Gazdag faces the Revolution, who while sitting in ninth in the table, have also conceded 22 times and now clash with a Union team who has lost only once this season in the MLS.

With seven of the club's 18 MLS goals coming from Gazdag, if anyone is to score and get the win for the Eastern Conference leaders, it's him.

Jansson to be Carded Against Dallas: 53.8%

This MLS season has seen more yellow cards by this point than any of the past five campaigns. Some players have been getting a card for every over game they have played in  Robin Jansson has received an incredible eight cards in 13 matches.

The Orlando City man has been shown a card in 53.8% of matches he has played, and he and his Orlando team meet with an FC Dallas side this weekend who have let in the fewest goals in the Western Conference so far.

In reality, it looks as if he could get carded once more to make it nine in 14 games.
